This is a replacement training sail for the standard laser in the new radial 7.1m² design.  The sail is designed to replicate the feel and performance of the new radial full size laser sail recently developed by Performance Sailcraft. It is designed to allow Laser sailors to train realistically with a durable sail. The sail is produced in our DPD-150, which is a 3½ ounce cloth with a soft hand. The luff sleeve is made in our DPD-160, 3.9-ounce cloth for greater durability. The sail has three rectoid battens with the same stiffness as the class legal sail, three tell tails and a vision window. A 3-meter blue tube bag is supplied which allows the sail to be removed from the mast and rolled from the head down around the top mast section. The bag will take the sail and both mast sections.
