As we continue to develop our quality Control Program we work on
being sure the sail is the way the customer wants it to be. There
are vastly different customers that buy sails. Some are new to
sailing, some are experienced sail buyers, many are past
customers, many world cruiser, some are new sailmakers in the
making, some have language translation issues. Some sails are out
side
of the normal range, but still considered standard.
This all contributes to the final outcome of the product.
We are able to tell from our communication with the customer
certain characteristics about the buyer. While one of us may
discuss the details with the customers, another employee down the
line may have no contact at all. We now score sail orders so all
of our employees can get a general idea of things that may need
additional communication between the buyer and our staff.
