Intermediate
Sliders
Full Batten sails have a batten holder on the luff end of each full
batten.
Between the full battens, there are several arrangements that are used
to attach
the sail to the mast. The options are;
1) Normal Sliders as determined by the sailmaker. These would be
additional
sliders the same you find a partial batten sail. Used 90 percent
of time.
2) One intermediate slider between each full batten including one
slider at
the sail head. Used 8 percent of the time.
3) No sliders between the full batten holders and 1 slider at the head.
Used
2 percent of the time.
