Main Sail and Mast Notes
1. Mast is Isomat NG – 46 section. Slides are MM#6 slider gap
is 10.1 mm slider internal flange is 18mm.
2. Please note placing of reefs as these are not standard.
Detailed at M16.
3. I would like as large a roach as can be cut without any
risk of hitting backstay.
4. I will send a separate picture (photo #4) of mast gate as
this will need to accommodate cars.
5. The stack pack will accommodate a maximum stack height
(inc cars slides and head-board) of 700mm.
6. The top of the car/slider gate is 200 mm above the top of
the boom. There is a strong chance that cars will not drop below
gate cover (see photos) so cars and sliders might all have to
fit in 500mm of track.
7. For information, the current, Partially battened mainsail
has 16 sliders (including head and tack).
8. Please ensure that sail is cut to accommodate mast
Pre-bend this is 100mm with 0 backstay tension. Last new sail
had to be recut as sailmaker had not allowed for pre-bend.
