Enclosed is photograph of head old mainsail. Unfortunately the drawings did not transmit very well but here are the dimensions. Clew measurement from the edge of the sail to the middle of the ring is 6/8" and the measurement from the top of the rope on the foot to the center of the ring is 11/16 " Tack measured from the top edge of the rope of the luff to the center of the ring is 5/8" and the foot of the sail from the top of the rope to the center of the ring is 11/16" The head of sail measurement from the luff (top of the rope) to the center of the hole is 15/16", from the top of the sail the measurement is 1/2" to the center of the ring. The old sail has slugs that measure 7/8" in length and 5/16 wide, photo attached. The slugs are only on the luff of the sail, the foot has no slugs and the rope slides in the boom track, the diameter of the rope is 3/8" I made a mistake in changing the measurement of the foot to 7 ft. 9 in. The foot of the sail should be 7 ft 8 in. Would like the draft stripe to be blue. I noticed on your list of items you described the foot of the sail as "loose footed", I want the foot of the sail to be secured in the track of the boom, not loose. The old sail did not have Slugs on the foot, it was fed into the track using the rope edge. Should I have slugs in the foot? Also would like to have slugs on the luff of the sail. Michael, hope this answers all your questions, if not please let me know if you have any more questions. Regards, Charlie Palmer
